To "discoverthePASS" is...

We’d like to thank you for continuing to read and contribute to the discoverthePASS project. We say it’s a project because this magazine is a collaborative effort of our staff and the community at-large.

We’ve been in print for just over a year now--let me tell you--it’s been a challenging but rewarding adventure without a doubt!

Looking back at our first year we’ve featured some larger-than-life characters like Elvis, Einstein, and of course Pinky the Skating Donkey; we’ve brought back memories of colorful characters like Gorgeous George while highlighting local legends and events--including one over-sized farm creature that went missing for a few days.

Admittedly, we’ve also taken our eyes off the proverbial ball a handful of times--this was mostly due to a lack of focus on the magazine’s vision and purpose. Though, certain types of articles, advertising, and imagery may be considered marketing gold which will sell magazines, that is not the purpose of our publication.
