Well, search no more, my friends, because the place you are seeking is right here in the PASS.

The “World’s Greatest Burger” you say?  Right here?  Not possible.

Oh, but I speak the truth.

However, it was not always this way…

As you may or may not know, in 1999 a little joint opened up on 6th Avenue just past Beaumont Avenue called The Sandwich Stoppe.  They served your normal lunch fare of deli style sandwiches, burgers, and fries which satisfied locals well enough to form a small following.

And if you do know that, chances are you don’t know that The Sandwich Stoppe’s story doesn’t end there.

In fact, that is just the short version of its humble beginnings…

Let me tell you now, how The Sandwich Stoppe is now simply The Stoppe! and how this little hole-in-the-wall is quickly becoming known as home to “The World’s Greatest Burger.”
